We invite abstract submissions for poster and oral presentations on all topics covered by the Northwest Scientific Association and the Northwest Lichenologists. Research should be located in or focus on subject matter pertaining to the Greater Northwest region. Abstracts must be no more than 250 words in length and clearly articulate research goals, and results or outcomes. Individuals may submit abstracts for more than one poster or oral presentation. If this is the case, please use separate submission forms.
If you would like your oral presentation to be considered for one of the organized special sessions on Forest Health, Ecosystem Restoration, Geological Hazards, or Lichenology, please indicate this using the dropdown menu on the abstract submission form below. Talks that are not submitted to one of these special sessions will be organized into general sessions based on their theme. There is also still time to add more special sessions to the program. If you have an idea for a special session, will be submitting an oral presentation on this topic, and are willing introduce the session, please contact Dr. Dylan Fischer. Poster submissions may also be assigned to one of the special session topics on the abstract submission form and will be grouped according to topic during the poster session.
The deadline for abstract submission is February 15, 2026. We aim to review abstracts immediately and announce a schedule for oral presentations by the first week of March. Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2026 Annual Meeting!
